Everywhere you look on the internet the advise is the same, in the main. To be a good writer you have to read a lot. Even the famous writers tell you to do this. But if you are reading you are not writing. So my opinion is while you are working on your next manuscript don’t read other peoples work. There’s enough inspiration in the world without accidently taking it from another author.
