Is a lost writer not a writer?

So, I’m learning the guitar. I’ve found a new console game that’s devouring my time. The element needs changing on the oven. There are twenty things with priority on my to-do list. So. I’m not writing much and when I do, it is only a few words, and the thread of the story is a little slow or lost. Does this mean I’m not a writer anymore? No, it doesn’t! If you still want to write and you still find time to write, even a little, and your notebook keeps getting updates on what needs to be in your book, then you are still a writer. The other things will get done, but writing is forever and will always welcome you back.
